Ready-To-Take-Charge
A Two-Session Program to Jumpstart Your Career
(For Individuals Inside and Outside of Organizations)
Are you wondering, “What’s my next career move? What can I do to better focus my job? How do I start to shine and ‘get ahead’?”
Many executives are too caught up in their own circular thinking (“I’m not sure what I want, so I’d better save face and stay put.”) or too preoccupied with the rat race (“I can’t afford to think about making any changes now—I’ve got too much on my plate.”) to make much progress on their own.
As one manager said, “I feel disappointed, as if I’ve failed to live up to my full potential. I know it’s time to move on, to use more of my intellect and passion and connect. I want to join others who are excited and energized about their work. How do I get started?”
A VP in charge of marketing confessed, “I don’t know what happened in the past three or four years. My company changed, but I didn’t! I’m still stuck in the same place, doing the same old thing. How do I re-charge?”
A combination of fear, impatience, and overwork can keep even the smartest and most highly motivated people from making the desired changes. After twenty-one years as a career consultant and executive coach, I can tell you this: The belief that “It’s time for things to change.” is only the starting point.
Busy executives and other professionals need a systematic approach—one that will give them answers quickly and efficiently. They need a program that aims wide, considering their options in a changing marketplace, and that digs deep, taking their personal values and interests into account.
This is the basis for my new program Ready-to-Take-Charge. In two one-hour private consultations you will hone your sense of purpose, define your core values, and identify opportunities that are aligned with who you are, and what you truly want from life and work.
These sessions will not only build your self-confidence, they will put you on more solid ground when it comes to job-hunting, or job development—revising the position you already hold so you and the system gets more out of it.
Exercises are tailored to meet your specific needs. And you are the driver of the process. As a result of the work you do, your career choices will no longer be based on hit-or-miss approach but on the integration of your strengths and your emerging interests and desires. I hope you’ll join me on this exciting adventure—and continue reading to see how others have benefited from this unique program.
Ready-to-Take-Charge…

Bottom line, Ready-to-Take-Charge puts you in control of your job and career.
To begin with, you’ll answer key pre-session questions and take the Career Anchors assessment online: www.careeranchorsonline.com.
In Session One: We explore your Career Anchor assessment that gives you a deeper understanding of your values and work preferences. Next, we uncover work patterns and themes, and clarify your basic strengths. Finally, we align your decision-making process with your quest for a better job or more meaningful work.
In Session Two: We clarify your options and consider ways to explore different paths at work or in the job market based on your core values, interests, and timing. We establish a plan of action, creating an arc of progress that includes both short-term and long-term goals.
The fee for the program is $495.00.
This includes pre-session questions, the Career Anchors assessment online, two one-hour private consultations, a copy of Rethinking Work: Are you ready to take charge? (Davies-Black, 2007) and various exercise materials.
