Directions to Our Office
20 Academy Street, Arlington, Massachusetts (not a mailing address)
We are located one block from the Arlington Town Hall off of Massachusetts Avenue. The building is red brick, a former high school, at the corner of Academy and Maple Streets across from Arlington Friends of Drama, a theatre. On the Maple side (#27), there's a senior center. Do not enter here. Enter from the Academy, arched-doorway side (#20). The elevator is on your left. Please come to the 2nd floor, and take a left. My office is located in suite 200 on the right. Rethinking Work is housed in the "Schools for Children" administrative offices.

Parking: There's street parking on Mass. Ave., Academy and Maple Streets. Also, there's town parking behind the Bank of America (25 cents an hour!). Please, allow yourself time to find a space.

From Boston:
Storrow Drive (W) to Fresh Pond Parkway (Rt. 16W); pass Alewife "T" Station on your left; bear to the left to Rt. 2/West; take exit 59/ Rt. 60/Arlington Center/Belmont Center; go right onto Rt. 60/Pleasant St.; pass by "Welcome to Arlington" sign; approx. one mile, take a left onto Maple Street (the BIG white "Pleasant Street Congregational Church" is on the left corner). Start looking for parking on Maple. 20 Academy is a short, pleasant walk. Enter the building on Academy.

From Rt. 128 (95) North & South:
Exit 29A to Rt. 2 East; take exit 59/ Rt. 60/Arlington Center/Belmont Center. Bear left off the exit onto Rt. 60/Pleasant Street; pass back over Rt.2.; pass by "Welcome to Arlington" sign; approx. one mile, take a left onto Maple Street (the big white "Pleasant Street Congregational Church" is located on the left-hand corner). Start looking for parking on Maple. 20 Academy is a short, pleasant walk down the street at the corner of Maple and Academy. Enter the building on Academy.

From Cambridge via Mass. Ave:
Coming from Cambridge, pass the major intersection in Arlington Center, proceed two blocks and take your first left after the Public Library and Arlington Town Hall onto Academy. 20 Academy is one block on your left. Start looking for parking. (If you passed another set of lights at Mass. Ave. and Jason St., you went too far!)

From Lexington via Mass. Ave:
If you're traveling from Lexington on Mass. Ave., Academy St. is the first right after the traffic lights at Jason St. Start looking for parking. If you've passed the Public Library and Town Hall on your right side, you've gone too far!
